Built on four generations of tradition, with a care system developed in a university hospital setting
Our family medical team from Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital provides care based on the stomach and digestive system, and we prepare herbal medicine directly in our In-House Herbal Medicine Research Lab.

Family Medical Team from Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital
Third- and fourth-generation father and son (父子) and husband and wife (夫婦) provide care together. Third-generation Dr. Bongha Ryu, Honorary Director, served as a presidential physician and director of Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital, and the fourth-generation husband-and-wife directors, Dr. Hansung Ryu and Dr. Seungwon Baek, are also from Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital. All have published SCI-level papers in their fields of care, and they continue the systematic approach to care learned at a university hospital.

We began in Andong in 1904 to help people suffering from illness during difficult times. We care for each patient with the heart of carrying on our family practice.
02Treatment Based on the Stomach and Digestive System
Based on fundamental treatment that supports stomach and digestive function, the source of qi and blood (氣血), we also treat related chronic and difficult-to-treat conditions.
03In-House Herbal Medicine Research Lab
At our affiliated Herbal Medicine Research Institute, we research and prepare customized herbal medicine by constitution, Hoechundang Moschus Gongjindan, Hoechundang Uwhang Cheongsimwon, and extract herbal medicines by condition.
04GMP-Certified Kyunghee Hanyak Herbal Ingredients
We use GMP-certified Kyunghee Hanyak Herbal Ingredients supplied to Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital. Herbal ingredients whose active marker component content has been verified are decocted directly in our in-house decoction room.
05Accessible, Spacious Treatment Space
We are near Yongsan Station and Sinyongsan Station, and with our 2021 expansion, we have ample treatment beds and specialized treatment rooms. We provide acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, Cupping, large moxibustion, high-frequency, thermal dome, magnetic field, microwave, Chuna Manual Therapy, and traction treatments.
06Telemedicine and Care for International Patients
If visiting in person is difficult, we can guide you through telemedicine. Dr. Hansung Ryu and Dr. Seungwon Baek, who can provide care in English, see international patients.
