02PROGRAM GOALS

Why Do Wrinkles And Rough Skin Texture Develop?

What is commonly called youthful-looking skin is elastic, smooth, radiant, and even. As aging progresses, elasticity decreases, unevenness creates wrinkles, tissues sag to one side, and skin tone becomes mottled. The causes of wrinkles differ by area, and even the same type of wrinkle can vary in depth and pattern depending on facial structure.

  • 01

    Tight Muscles

    We relax shortened, tight muscles.

  • 02

    Sagging Areas

    We lift sagging areas.

  • 03

    Areas With More Fat

In areas where abundant fat makes wrinkles deeper, we reduce the fat.

  • 04

    Sunken Areas

    We fill depressed, sunken areas.

  • 05

    Internal Causes in the Body

When toxins and waste products build up, or when jinyeak (津液: body fluids that moisten the body) decreases with aging, the skin becomes rough and dry.

03BY AGE

Wrinkle Care By Age And Gender

20s
Maeseon for glabellar wrinkles caused by excessive facial expressions, forehead maeseon for a fuller-looking forehead, and detox for toxins accumulated from diet, drinking, smoking, and irregular routines
30s
A time when fine lines and hollowing around the eyes, between the brows, around the nasolabial folds, and on the forehead begin — volume maeseon
40s
A time when deep nasolabial, forehead, and glabellar wrinkles, as well as marionette (jowling) and Indian wrinkles, begin to appear — lifting maeseon
50s~60s
For fine wrinkles over wider areas, we use Jeongan Facial Acupuncture; for deepening wrinkles, we also use maeseon with stronger support. We recommend herbal medicine and Gyeongokgo to replenish jinyeak.
Men
Maeseon for glabellar and deep nasolabial wrinkles that can give a negative impression

04PROGRAM

Treatment Methods

Recommended combination treatment: Jeongan Facial Acupuncture · Maeseon · MTS Acupuncture · Radiofrequency Lifting. When needed, we combine pharmacopuncture and herbal medicine.

Jeongan Acupuncture (Facial Balancing Acupuncture, 整顔針)
01

Jeongan Acupuncture (Facial Balancing Acupuncture, 整顔針)

Using about 100~180 fine silver acupuncture needles, we stimulate acupoints to relax the fascia and support blood and lymph circulation. This may help improve skin elasticity, a clearer complexion, and fine wrinkles.

Maeseon (Thread Lifting)
02

Maeseon (Thread Lifting)

Dissolvable threads (PDO maeseon threads) help form new collagen connective tissue and support skin regeneration. We use various threads by area, such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, forehead, and eye-area wrinkles.

03

MTS Acupuncture · Radiofrequency Lifting

This is skin texture and elasticity care recommended together with Jeongan Facial Acupuncture and Maeseon.

Jahageo Pharmacopuncture (Placenta Pharmacopuncture)
04

Jahageo Pharmacopuncture (Placenta Pharmacopuncture)

This is pharmacopuncture made from Jahageo (紫河車: human placenta). It is used to treat chronic fatigue, menopausal disorders, and menstrual-related conditions, and may help improve skin brightening, fine wrinkles, and elasticity. It supports skin regeneration and radiance.

Personalized Detox Herbal Medicine
05

Personalized Detox Herbal Medicine

Even if the skin is treated from the outside, results may be reduced if the body's qi and blood circulation is blocked and recovery ability is low. We prescribe herbal medicine that helps release waste products and toxins, replenish nutrition and jinyeak, and support circulation.

Gyeongokgo (瓊玉膏)
06

Gyeongokgo (瓊玉膏)

This is a prescription described in Donguibogam as restoring vital energy and replenishing essence (精) and marrow (髓), in other words jinyeak, to help prevent aging. It helps replenish jinyeak to moisturize the skin and reduce dryness, and supports blood flow to help add vitality to the skin.

06FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

QWill My Expression Look Awkward?
A

Our goal is to preserve natural expressions that show your emotions while easing deep wrinkles and fine lines.

QI have had several wrinkle procedures before. Is that okay?
A

Those whose face feels unnatural after repeated wrinkle procedures are also candidates for consultation. We re-evaluate the facial structure and decide on the treatment direction.

QCan I receive this for prevention?
A

Yes. Those who want to help prevent skin aging are also candidates. It is better to prepare for aging-related changes in advance rather than leave them unaddressed.

QMy skin is dry and dull.
A

When jinyeak decreases with aging, the skin becomes rough and dry, and fine lines develop. Gyeongokgo or customized herbal medicine to replenish jinyeak can be considered together.
